If this doesn’t show Baker to not bring Maton in high-leverage situations for the time being, I don’t know what will. Bases-loaded walks to tie the game is unacceptable.

Half of Maton’ balls were so bad that the batter never even had to make a decision, including two ball four pitches.

Here’s a novel concept: Make the team with one of the lowest team averages in MLB put the ball in play to score runs.

Maton is just bad right now. It’s one thing to get hit hard. He’s simply gifting other teams free baserunners in many of his recent outings.
