Sano is a big boy.

Berrios is at 95 pitches

Chas grounds 3-1; Sano fielded it almost in front of the second baseman

That belly flop registered a Richter 3 in St. Paul.

Machete 4-3 up the middle.

Mid 7

It’s 4-2.

Raley makes his 28th appearance.

6.2 ERA. Soeaks volumes that he’s been comparatively steady.

Simmons doubles to left

Lackluster breaking ball and Simmons stayed on it.

Rortvedt can’t get a bunt down, goes 1-2, shows bunt, and gets one down.

Out 1-3, Simmons to 3rd.

Polanco singles.

5-2.

Offense finally scores, pen gives at least 1 back in the bottom of the frame.

Yep, that’s the M.O.

Donaldson Ks swinging

Dusty makes the call.

Looks like Rodriguez trotting in.

Nivaldo on to face Cruz who walks on 4 pitches.

Ball 4 has been a strike all night.

Ball 1 too.

Larnach with runners on 1st/2nd and 2 outs, gets hit on the knee (on replay it was his shin) by a slider.

Bases loaded.

Good grief.

Sano’s go plenty of padding. We’re lucky he didn’t wear that pitch.

Sano takes a ball low (strike at least 6 times tonight), another a little higher is a strike 1-1, fouls a low FB 1-2, almost hit by a FB 2-2, lines out to Brantley.

Great play by Brantley.

5-2 going to the 8th

If that gets past Brantley with any momentum, it’s 8-2.

ETA: forgot it was Cruz on first. Sano could have homered and Cruz may not have scored.

Altuve faces Robles, F9 flail on the first pitch.

Finished his swing in a curtsy.

HPU still getting it done.

Strike 2 to Brantley was a ball 8 minutes ago

Maybe I should have said HPU still getting it done wrong.

Did he tip that?
