That pitch hasn’t been a strike all day. Or at least it wasn’t for Javier once, and he hit it three or four times.

I saw that Alvarez has had more balls called strikes against him than anyone—I wonder if his size doesn’t influence that on the edges.

What a fucking shit show this game has been offensively.

Alvarez watched two fastballs in the zone go right by. The first one was on a tee.

That pitch was a full ball width inside the zone

I know, but the ump hadn’t been calling it against smaller guys.

B8:

Grossman…3-0…3-1…3-2…leadoff walk

That’s it for Raley…Stanek in

Yes, because we know how walks turn out.

Castro, runners on the corners, two out…0-2…1-2…flies out F7

Good job by Stanek

Now rattle the fucking bats!!!

That’s about as well as you can hit a ball and have nothing to show for it

T9:

Soto in for the Tigers…

Correa…quickly down 0-2…takes a fastball for strike three

T9:

Tucker grounds out 6-3 in the shift…stops running halfway.

And Dusty fucks up the managing again, brings in Pressly without a lead and the bottom of the order due up, when he knows he still has to get through the middle of their order.
