There was a better chance of relaying it to Peña. McCormick ain’t throwing anyone out from anywhere on the field.

One of the things that made me fall in love with the Astros over the years was the “Astros Way” of solid fundamentals and respect for the game. Regardless of how talented the team was or how they were doing.
The poor base running and the poor base running defense is painful to watch.

To be fair, it was only three runs because the Rays only needed one in the bottom of the 9th. The bullpen probably could have given up more if they needed to.
