That’s another “no chance he scores on a league average arm in CF” play

The third base coach had done his homework. There was no hesitation.

I actually finally went to baseball savant to see where Meyers arm ranks. He’s 11th percentile. 11th. 89% of outfielders have a better arm.

Good grief, who’s worse?

That’s one of those “eyeball test” stats, thanks for the confirmation.

Garrett Hampson, Parker Meadows, Rickey Moniak are the CF’s that are worse, none of the 3 are really considered true CFs though. There are more guys lower on the list that mostly play a corner.

Edit - league average for CF’s is 89 MPH, Jake is at 84.3

Brenton Doyle is number 1 at 97.7. That’s gettin it

Who is he?

Ronel really looks like he’s running out of gas. JV can’t get back soon enough.

If anybody thought Ronel Blanco would be more than a back rotation 5 inning pitcher, those anybodys are crazy

Astros leave 'em loaded in the 5th.

This is the worst team in th history of baseball with the bases loaded

RISP batting average is really the difference in the game.

They hit w/ 2 outs under pressure
We hit into DP’s and can’t find a way to finish off the inning

Excuse me while I reverse jinx this thread

Altuve!!!

Little man crushed that one.

Hell yeah Altuve!

Big Boooooom Altuve

First home run since July 12 for Tuve. If he and Yordan are about to go on a run, this could be a lot of fun.

Blum on Dubon - he’s been in swing mode up there recently

Uh no, Dubon has always been in swing mode. Teams just figured out that you literally do not need to throw a single strike and he will get himself out.
