It’s almost as if the Astros are good at this player development thing.
To me, Maton is better when he throws his fastball more.
The Astros ended up 14-5 vs Arlington on the season.
And aside from one steaming pile this series beat them like a good team SHOULD beat a terrible team.

We got the good James last night. That’s why he is so tantalizing.

He’s always had great stuff. He’s shown flashes, but has never been able to put it together. His problem is like a lot of guys, he simply hasn’t throw strikes consistently. Maybe he can find a good spot for himself. I would love to see a healthy, consistent Josh James.
