Had to look that up. My dad has a ball signed by the brooklyn dodgers. His uncle made the team, but chose business. Baseball was another paying game in the day. Pee wee reese and many other great players are on that ball. I believe a year they one the series. He wouldn’t know now, what the ball was for possibly, he has dementia. Kinda like uncle joe, but he gave up his retirement position, mayor of a small town in NJ before he was toast. Told my mom, he didn’t think he was as sharp as he needs to be, to do his job.
He was a die hard Giants fan, until they moved like the tenessee traitors. Baseball has always been my game. I could care a r*ts a** about football for years. Used to work suites at Texans games.

everything is one step at a time. We are here to win it all. Still think signing Corea for a long term contract and trading him after two or three years would get us more than a draft pick. We have a number of potentially good prospects at SS in the minors, only one at this point in time is a possibility, IMHO.

Very happy for Siri. Eight years in the minors, several orgs, not called up until Sept after a very good year in SL-it would not be hard to give up.
