Wow hitting hard to the right side in that situation really makes a difference!

I wanted to get to the 11th just to whether they would try to bunt the Manfred Man over.

Who, the Phillies? They might have.

I don’t mind not bunting with Bregman, but he has to make contact in that situation.

Like maybe on a first pitch FB in the center square?

I wonder which one of the good hitters the magic 8 ball will decide gets tomorrow off?

Astros now 2-5 in their last seven games.

Yep, you do not bunt with Bregman. Cannot K, though.

That sucked ass.

Had a few opportunities early and could not cash in.

Hate fucking extra innings

It’s really hard to win in extra innings on the road. It’s even harder for the Astros.

And they got the equalizer against a tiring Blanco.

This season is starting to wear on him.

This game is disappointing, all losses are. But it’s not the kind I lose sleep over. Gotta come out tomorrow and swing the bats.

That starts with Espada putting out a competent lineup

The Astros are in a stretch of 17 games in a row without an off day, but it is maddening you finally get Yordan back after missing three games and Espada decides to sit Altuve. The Astros do not have the lineup depth right now to sit one of their best hitters.

Amen to this.

Back at 'em tomorrow.

I assume Altuve will be back out there, and looks like Dubon is good to go. Honestly, I’m not sure I would have expected more tonight. You got Alvarez, Diaz, and Caratini all in the lineup, and Gamel has been the best guy they’ve been able to run out there to RF in a while. There are holes in this lineup, no matter you stack it up. Glaring holes. They had 8 hits and drew three walks. That’s 11 baserunners, plus the free one. They were 1-10 w/RISP though.

Agreed. Last Friday still bothers me. This was a good game.
