Burnes hadn’t thrown an offspeed strike in 3 or 4 batters.
Gamel and Whitcomb did a good job of handling the FBs that Burnes had to bring to the zone.

Arrighetti: 6.0 innings, 0 runs on 3 hits, struck out 6, and most importantly walked only one. That one walk was on an 8-pitch at bat. He attacked hitters tonight and it paid off.
