Donāt forget about looking at first-pitch fastballs down the middle.
You only get a penny for those and thatās only if the previous two guys also stared wonderingly at a first pitch get me over fastball.
Taking the first pitch doesnāt bother me near as much. But whatever happened to āI was just looking for a pitch I could handleā? Did you not think you could handle a meatball right down the fucking center of the plate?
