Great heads up play by Correa on the 10th inning double play. He knows that when Raley turns he will have several players in his field of vision - Correa, Perez, Straw, maybe Altuve, plus the 2nd base umpire all on the move. Correa throws up his hand to get Raley’s attention and give him a target helping make a perfect throw.

Surely he was. That movement to first when the hitter shows bunt is instilled in second basemen from LL on.

Yep, just watched it again. Altuve was very near first when Raley caught the ball.

This team has lots of flaws, but you gotta love ‘em. They have a chance to win it all. Now if we will make an offer designed to keep Correa….

I also noticed Stubbs backing up first many times throughout the game Saturday. He was hustling and in the picture regularly on feed from left to first.

He may not be able to hit much but he is a hell of a fundamental, hustling, heads up player.
