To be fair, if the umpires actually did their jobs, you wouldn’t need replay to turn over if they come off the bag after sliding in safe.

Yeah, you are right. He has be out. But he should be safe
I don’t see that as a missed call even though it gets overturned. I’d rather the umpire to call that play safe unless it’s clrear he came off.

Sure, I totally get that. But as an umpire it’s your responsibility to see if he comes off or out. Big league umps have always essentially ignored the results after the slide in unless the runner comes flying off the bag entirely, but he’s still just as out.
