Abreu was just not competitive

If only we’d had a lead and a chance to bring in another pitcher instead of the guy that was throwing pus.

Eh? Oh.

I thought walking Gallo was ok. Damn.

Emmanuel might be the second most reliable bullpen arm.

I was fine with walking Gallo. He will expand a strikezone.

But that home run pitch was thigh high right down the fucking middle.

It should have been.

What the fucking fuck?

I still do not know why Pressly did not pitch the 10th.

Walking Gallo was not the end of the world, but he could not throw anything other than the fastball within five feet of the plate. Then grooved a cookie to Garcia.

Second pitch of the AB.

Didn’t even make him work for it.

Even mediocre hitters don’t miss thigh-high meatballs when they know the guy can’t get a breaker over the plate.

Well fuck.

Seriously. Fuck you, Abreu. That was a grooved meatball right down the fucking pipe.

What a fucking awful way to lose/end the game.

Also, since I haven’t said it in a few days: Fuck Dusty Baker. He is a fucking horrible strategic coach.

Still don’t understand using Pressly in the 9th. You use your closer, best reliever to face the bottom of their order in a tie game on the road, when you know you still have to face the top of their order, with a RISP no less, in the 10th. Just makes no sense whatsoever.

Dusty Baker, tactical genius:

Then why use him in the 9th?

Pitch him in the 10th also.

Pressly threw 10 pitches in the 9th. TEN! And you didn’t let him complete the save the other day, so it’s not like he’s been overused. No, Dusty brings in one of the pitchers he claimed pre-game he wasn’t going to use! Ugh I do not understand WHY unless Pressly is hurt.

4 outs is not 2 innings. Dusty Baker is a fucking idiot.

Pardon me, 10 pitches WAS a full inning, but still.
