The Brendan Rodgers experiment is infuriating.

His days have to be numbered.

He was really interesting coming out of college. Some teams had him as a top pick (obviously Oakland took him super high), but there were other dissenters on the advanced analytics side who saw him as a round 3–4 talent. The bet with him was that he’d continue to do exactly what he did in college without impressive bat speed or exit velos, without drawing many walks, etc. And he’s done exactly that. He’s in that category with Arraez, such a fun kind of player.

Wait, what? Glenn Wilson? I’m waiting to google this.

They’ve had Whitcomb playing 2B almost exclusively this past week or so, I do believe the writing is on the wall for Rodgers

Wilson’s MLB bio says his dad is Jack Wilson. That name doesn’t ring a bell for me.

Oof, yeah. That’s a sign if ever there was one.

Long time ok SS for really bad Pirates teams

Lance is dealin’ this (6th) inning. Impressive.

Dubon hitting for Walker.

Just what we need. Walker out

12ks for Lance and 6 innings pitched.
Need the good guys to come back and make his quality start count.

I was drawing a blank. I remember him now.

I have a bad feeling about Walker. The way he yanked his hand away from the trainer and didn’t offer it back….

…and of course it happens right after he starts to turn things around.

that was a tough take, Jake. glad it worked out…

Was thinking the same.

Dubin looks a bit like Colin McHugh out there. Until he starts his manic windup, that is.
