Yes Altuve hit the ball hard. That’s all one can do. My gripe is with the approach. Both Altuve and Bregman went up there like they were protecting the plate down 0-2. I wanted them to try to get a good pitch to hit. Especially Bregman, when you know it would take a base hit. Actually, I wouldn’t have minded Altuve trying to bunt there. But I’m crazy like that.
