My daughter, who’s up here with her family cooling off, just discovered that her side of the street is still without power, but the other side is energized.
That’s not unusual. During Ike, the other side of my street had power back in a few days I was out 3 weeks.
I thought about referencing him but I wanted to maintain at least some sort of verisimilitude.
