It was Paredes that held at third on Walker’s weak pop up. Putting Varsho and Walker back to back in that part of the order really does feel like Espada’s actively trying to sabotage the team.
If you’re trying to win, you do this. I don’t know what Espada’s doing, but he’s not trying to win.

Yes, my mistake. Altuve erased on Varsho’s bullet.
They showed a view on the 1st pitch to Varsho and 1B was on the bag and then backing up rapidly. Would have loved Varsho trying to drag one that way, because either out or safe it was pretty much the best outcome you could hope for
