My point exactly… his velo is down, along with his pitch options; nothing’s landing.
Why not keep it simple, work on increasing velo (especially up in the zone) and work towards peaking at 15-20 pitches, see if he can go again every other or every third day. If Smoltz can do it, so can Justin.
It would require Championship level buy in to make it work, which is why a dude on the internet like me is bringing it up and not Dana Brown.
