Sound of Music. Great show!
Dave Steakley, the artistic director, is a freaking genius, imo. This show had a small orchestra, which was sitting on the German beer garden-like stage. The musicians played polka music before the show and, of course, played the Sound of Music score. Dave cast actors who have great voices (it is musical theater!) AND who also play musical instruments. The actors/characters moved in and out of the orchestra in costume during the show. The woman who plays Maria has a fabulous voice and also played the guitar and violin.
It runs through July 24 if you are in Austin.

Apparently that Villar clank of the Peña line drive was ruled a hit. Pretty generous, in my opinion.
