Years ago I was told that like Camodians ruled donuts in Houston (except for Shipley’s), Koreans ruled donuts in Dallas. I asked a Houston Cambodian donut owner about it once, and she said that it was true, and that the Koreans were crazy, that they worked way too hard. She said that one guy might run several shops, and that they would sleep in the back of their shops.
Imagine Cambodian donut shop owners saying that someone was crazy for working so hard.
