Apparently, he got pulled right after giving up a monster homerun. Yikes.
Correa injured his ankle during batting practice before the game today.
Reportedly serious and will miss weeks, possibly months.
And Imai walked 5 in his latest rehab start. Things are looking up!
Wow, Correa injured, never saw that one coming. Glad we didnāt dump Paredes in the off-season.

And Pearson, who they are (were?) grooming to start walked 3 and gave up 3 runs in 2/3 of an inning.
At some point they need to try the young guys ( Ullola and/or Pecko) instead of the retreads

Iām indifferent on whether Espada should keep his job - I donāt think heās particularly bad as a manager, but managers are hired to be fired.
But Dana Brown has failed at almost every aspect of the job. The complete implosion of every single pitcher he acquired this offseason is the nail in his coffin.

They let him walk after spring training! Then brought him back, yes, but they still left him open to sign with any other team. Christian Roa (!) made the roster over him.

Correa is the latest in a dizzying line of major Astros injuries. He joins not only PeƱa but Hunter Brown (shoulder strain), Josh Hader (biceps tendinitis), Yainer Diaz (oblique strain), Jake Meyers (oblique strain), Tatsuya Imai (arm fatigue), Cristian Javier (shoulder strain), Joey Loperfido (quad strain) and Taylor Trammell (groin strain) as Astros to suffer new injuries this season. The āStros are also still without pitchers Ronel Blanco , Hayden Wesneski and Brandon Walter , all three of whom underwent UCL surgery during the 2025 season.
