Meanwhile, Minneapolis has cancelled public schools for the rest of the week after CBP fired pepper stray into a group of high school students while they were arresting school staff.
There are continued protests throughout the city. Walz was asked what would be the purpose of calling the national guard and he said something to the effect of “I don’t know, Minnesota has never been at war with the federal government before.” He seems to be out of fucks to give.

Like most stories of the Trump era, this will soon be out of the headlines and in the past. Sort of like the Venezuela thing, remember that one? Seems like the whole scheme to pillage their wealth is confronting reality: oil companies aren’t that interested. I guess we can still pirate their tankers, but is the money “we” gain by pirating the tankers even cover the military costs needed to do it?
I suspect that other than a steep recession, or depression, Americans will believe falsehoods and allow Trump and his minions to get away with whatever they choose.

The good news is: Trump is too fucking stupid and greedy to actually prevent the oncoming recession. He’s going to find a way to pillage all of the oil money they’re going to make stealing Venezuela’s oil.
