I have no idea why they would throw Altuve a pitch he could reach with the bat there. I know who was on deck, but if Altuve doesn’t strike out on pitches eight inches off the plate you can walk him, too.

Altuve amazes me. Watch his back leg on the double. It slides back and away from the box. He had no leverage and is not hitting on a strong back leg/side. He hits the ball on his front side and completely with his arms. That is a bad HS swing.
