September 1st, or be in the organization prior to that date and get an exemption. The Tigers would do this with Jobe and I believe the Rangers did that last year with Carter last year.
For players on the 60-day, they have to have been placed there prior to August 1st. You canât put a player on the 60-day on August 27th and have him Postseason eligible, because it removes him from the 40-man. And Yordan was in the organization on September 1st, so thatâs a moot point with him.
