Until the three run bomb from Pinder we had given up six homers accounting for six runs today and yesterday. We’ve been working w a slim margin our bullpen can’t handle without outstanding work from our now three starters (w Javier a reliever).
Well, this is who they’ve been all season. Quality starters, quality hitters, absolute garbage pen.
Maybe Hendriks sitting and coming out for a second inning will help.
And he can’t pitch three (I assume).

If the Astros don’t come back, I’d think about flipping the order of Javier and the bullpen day.
He was good enough in his first inning there was no doubt he’d come out for another.
What he did is let everyone know he can’t be relied upon.
