He went.
Choi:
Ball, swings through a curveball, ball, shiftfuck single. Bases loaded.
Wow. Another roller for a hit
Soft freaking contact.
At some point Ground Control is going to have recalibrate the overall effectiveness of the shift.
At least being such a slave to it.
Good changeup… laid off.
My main problem is that pitchers don’t seem to change their approach at all. If all of your fielders are scattered here and there in the general right field area, don’t throw the batter anything on the outside part of the plate that the batter can push the opposite way.
That was sick.
Brosseau:
Ball, fouled off, ball, called strike, ball, strikeout!
Fucking A, Zack!
Huge out. Astros maintain a 4-2 lead to the bottom of the sixth inning.
I’d love to hear what Strom said to Dusty.
Give a big tip of the cap to Zack for his effort tonight. Six good innings from him.
I agree 100%. I don’t hate the shift, contrary to popular belief. I hate being a slave to it, no matter the situation, pitcher, or hitter.
Bitching about the shift is like bitching about taxes.
Or iPhones lacking a headphone jack.
It’s cathartic?
Now yer chunkin it in there…hum babe…
“Brass balls. Big. Brass. Balls.”
