Actually, this is not how they’ve been playing all year. Their defense has been outstanding all year, and they have rarely had this many good at bats. The results are the same though.
And it’s more fun to blame Neil.
Both teams hit rocket outs. That’s not luck, that’s fucking baseball.
But making teams pay for mistakes, hitting mistake pitches, and playing solid defense have nothing to do with luck.
They have to do with execution, and that is why the Astros are losing.
